Conversations That Matter

"What does Girl Scouts as an organization do better than anyone else?" We build leadership in girls. From this realization the Girl Scout Leadership Experience was born embracing the three keys of Discover, Connect and Take Action. While membership in our Council has experienced a fairly steady increase overall, membership nation wide has experienced a significant decline. We need your insight and benefit of your experiences as we work towards a new way of work in Girl Scouting engaging girls from all backgrounds in grades K-12.

Conversations That Matter are designed to have on-going open conversations with our membership about how to build a better leadership experience for girls through branding, funding, our organization/culture, program and volunteerism. In other words we want to engage you in building the new infrastructure of Girls Scouts of San Jacinto Council. One way of learning from you is the old fashion method of face to face conversation. We will have conversations around; ways to identify and partner with community resources, guidance for implementing GSLE program offerings under the Pathways model, our Council’s effort to put structures in place to offer pathways and recruit girls to the GSLE (called building infrastructure), volunteer support systems, and more. Look for up-coming dates and locations on our website.
